I got medical clearance on Oct. 30th! Woot! Kept meaning to post, but my touchpad wasn't charging. I'm using my cell phone cord for it, charges v e r y s l o w l y.
Fresh catheter every time took care of my infection problem. I blew through my health care fund through work, though, buying the new caths. Now it's hard to afford Iron supplements, but at least insurance pays finally (cause I couldn't afford the catheters anymore).
Tomorrow, my husband is getting evaluated as a donor. All day appointment at the hospital.
Oh, and, my brother doesn't match me, but volunteered for paired donation. His Evaluation is the 21st. Sadly, I can't go with him, it's the day before t-giving, and everyone already took off from work.
my gfr is 13, still not on the D, but feeling kinda slow and like my muscles are tired, or not breathing. I have been cleaning and entertaining like a demon lately, trying to tell my husband I need rest. He gets frustrated with how quickly I get fatigued. I worked OT this weekend, and only got three hours sleep. I have still not bounced back from it, and have a really full week this week. So tired! I need a break, really!

Momo - that's stupendous news! I hope your husband is a match and your wait is over soon. How cool is your brother, volunteering for a paired exchange! Tell them both they are my new heroes!
P.S. Great news about your infection problem clearing up also.

That's great news, but do try not to work too hard leading up to T-giving. Make your hubby help you out!!
