Laurie home from hospital Wednesday afternoon much better but still very weak . He is being transported back to the hospital for dialysis Tuesday . Thursday and Saturdays . Yesterday the ambulance arrived at 12 .30 pm to pick him up for dialysis at 2pm , he had four hours of dialysis so came off at six . We waited for the ambulance to bring us home and we waited and we waited . We arrived back home at 10 pm ! The hospital is half an hour away .
On a positive note the session went quite well this time no crashing and no pains . I ask a couple of questions each time so I am slowly being educated . The ambulance drivers on both legs of the journey were amazing - kind considerate and courteous . It was a very long day !

That sounds exhausting! I'm glad the hemo is going better. Maybe the social worker can help you work with the ambulance company to keep on a schedule. Keep on keeping on!
