I hate dialysis when the room isn't cold.  It's over 100 outside, and then inside, where it's cold in the winter months, it's almost warm.  This has been the hottest summer in Southern California I can ever  remember.

I hate dialysis when it seems as if it is time to go again when I just feel like I am getting over the last treatment.  Sometimes I feel as if I am either at dialysis or recovering from being at dialysis, so there is never really any good days sometimes.

I hate dialysis just because.

I hate dialysis when the air con is switched on I'm freezing and they still don't switched it off and can see me shivering.

I hate dialysis when the dietican only comes around to tell you everything bad your doing and eating which is everything.

I hate dialysis because I fall asleep and can't follow anything on tv.

I hate dialysis because I can't concentrate so can't read or do a crossword.

I hate dialysis because the lovely old ladies phone beside has the loudest ringtone and gives me a heart attack everytime it rings which is alot more than mine I'm jealous nobody calls me only looking for the number of the chinese takeaway which I can't eat anyway.

I hate dialysis always have always will but otherwise everything's hunky dory and the saying goes... :rofl;

I hate dialysis when the dietican only comes around to tell you everything bad your doing and eating which is everything.

I was overhearing our dietician talking to a nearby patient about their diet recently.  She would ask, for example, "Do you like (fill in the blank)?" in a positive tone.  When the patient would respond "yes", she would say, "Well, you can't have that".

I'm the opposite.  I wish I COULD fall asleep and make the time go faster!

I hate dialysis when they change my time so that I have to drive in right in the middle of lunchtime rush hour and drive home right in the middle of evening rush hour.

I hate dialysis when they try to fit me (metaphorically) into a box and treat us like all of our bodies are exactly the same...so essentially, I always hate dialysis.

I hate Dialysis when . . .

I wake up in the morning, until I fall asleep at night. And every second in between.

I hate dialysis when a reasonable well-educated and intelligent 63 year old is treated like an 8-year old by people far below her intellectual level.  (okay, I know how it sounds, but it is demeaning)

 the TV someone has on in the center is at that level, where you can here some words, but not all of it and it is irritating.

the dialysis machine is making a strange noise every couple of seconds and when you mention it, the tech says it is normal for that machine; and to be glad it isn't squeaking.

I hate dialysis when ONE guy in the room .... at 10pm .... is having a fight with his wife on his cell phone while I'm trying to sleep.  AND then he hangs up on her and shuts off his phone.  Then she starts calling the CENTER!  Ring Ring Ring Ring.....

As a caregiver, I hate dialysis when I'm tired and want to go to bed but the boyfriend hasn't finished hooking up to the machine for the night. Especially when something goes wrong or gets contaminated and the whole process takes that much longer. PD has it's plusses but letting someone else sleep while opening the bags is not one of them.

I hate dialysis when I finally get used to the new chair after a new weeks and was able to sleep 4 of the 8 hours that I had to hook with the machine previously then... here today are the neighboring alarms go on all night long every 20 min or so .... I could not sleep not even a wink and how I wish I had the guts to tell the tech and nurse, can I just go home and sleep in my own bed ... please?!

Why do bad things always happen to good people?

I hate dialysis when as soon as I fall asleep they then decide to check my breathing and heart and then they wake me again to ask a stupid question and wake me again to check my meds list and then they wake me again so the dietician can explain my labs again like I haven't been on dialysis for almost 3 years.  Why won't they just let me sleep I get up at 4:30am for the 5:30am shift.  :banghead;

When I look at my monthly food bill. Like I have complained before. Making food from scratch and all the meat is very, very expensive and time consuming. If I wasnt on dialysis it would be Mac and Cheese every night, or Hamburger Helper. A ton more cheaper then making all that crap from scratch.
