Last night at Hemo I started to cramp at just over 3 hours of  4 hour session.  The nurse turned down the speed to the minimum.  Then after the cramping stopped, she turned it back up, and viola, I cramped again.  I hate when that happens.

As a caregiver/partner of home D,   ;D I hate dialysis when hubby is hungry through the whole thing and i am fixing snacks, cleaning up, fixing more, cleaning up, sitting him up to eat said snacks, putting him back to lay position, and all the while, he's still not really compfy or settled AND then cramping!!  I HATE when that happens!!   But that IS the only time i hate it...  Mostly smooth sailing, so cant complain (hum, i just did  :o ) I Just like him compfy and well, sleeping is best..hehehe  Ok,, this has turned into a bit of a 'needed' i guess vent  :shy;

ok,,,,,,,, i hate that because of dialysis, i am so often so sad watching my hubby tied to the machine,  and seeing others suffer with this... Tonight im feeling so sad for those starting, and those with little ones, and for those loosing loved ones because of stupid kidney failure.  I know this isnt quite what this thread is about, but sometimes dialysis just makes me sad..

I hate dialysis the most when I think about how much it has cost my family.  Financially.  Emotionally.  I hate the way my crap has become the center of our world and how everything else has to revolve around dialysis.  It just doesn't sit well with me...

I hate dialysis when the guy next to me has to use the urinal.  COme on go to the washroom before you get hooked up.  But it's like clock work every night at around 8:30 the nurses come with the curtains.

If this doesn't stop soon I am going to request another spot.

I hated dialysis when they put me on last for the shift, then grumbled at me because I was the longest time holding sites of anyone in the unit.  I had to hold 15-20 minutes per spot, and I couldn't do them both at the same time.  And the 30-40 minutes was only when things were going well.  Inevitably, my tech was in a hurry to get home for the evening.  Not my fault they couldn't figure out a better schedule when it happened EVERY TIME!

I hate dialysis as it makes me cold.  Here it is in summer, and I'm wearing full clothing, using a blanket, and have the seat heater turned on.

And I hate dialysis when, post-treatment, my bp is like 80 over 55 and they won't let me go fearing I'll black out.  I tell them give me some saltwater after treatment, but no..........then they take my bp and I get saltwater through the needle.
