Two months ago I had urine bleeding and my Hb dropped to 5.7  I took 10 iron sucrose injections of 100mg each with a total of 1000mg.  I take 10,000 IU erythropoietin per week. Hb is now 8.5  I'm just wondering how much more iron sucrose is required to bring the Hb to 12?

Please share your experineces with iron injections when your Hb dropped.

As much as it takes to get your levels back to normal - and it doesn't sound like you've had enough yet.  They should be upping your iron AND your epo until your hemoglobin returns to a normal level.

"Asbestos Gelos"  (As-bes-tos yay-lohs) Greek. Literally, "fireproof laughter".  A term used by Homer for invincible laughter in the face of death and mortality.
