Hello dear friends, :waving;
Please allow me to vent my anger out.Yesterday was a badd >:(day at dialysis.Main reason WHY  was because of the manager of my center.She had a mad attitude 2ward all dialysis patients.Along with putting some of us in different chairs/stations.Some of us did not get into the treatment room an hour late.When she saw my neck catheter,she had a fit about it.Luckily one of my favorite tech came & told her WHY I have the neck catheter.The manager acted like I had commited a crime & need to be in jail.This tech took good care of me right away.He reassured me that my day at dialysis would get alot better.The manager seems to show up whenever she want to show up.Only because she needs to collect a paycheck.She disappear into the office for the rest of the morning session.She could not be bother to come out to make sure things were running ok.By the way,we have seen my surgeon that did my fistula.The NEWS is that he is going to try to SAVE it.I go back in 2 weeks to have an ultrasound.Then few days later to find out the results.I'm glad that I've a day off from dialysis.I'm hoping 2morrow will be a much better day at dialysis.Enjoy the day,my friends.

I'm curious. Who owns your center? Is it a corporation like Davita or Fresenius? Or is it smaller owned by doctors? Or run by a hospital? We may be able to give better advice if we knew.

What a jerk!  Hell, I'd be looking into Dialysis at home.  You don't have to put up with Crap, when you do.  Unless its your own,LOL!  Seriously, I would report Her antic's to someone higher.  Its totally unprofessional.

Look into D. at home & get out of the center.  Many here, can tell you how much better it is at home.

God Bless,
lmunchkin :kickstart;

Like I said in a post earlier, if staff wants to complain about the type of access that are put in patients, then why the hell aren't they in that field?
