 :2thumbsup; Thanks everyone. I also posted a craigslist ad and heard from one person already. Wrong blood type but maybe could be used in a swap. The best thing would be to bring a O donor to swap because they can help a greater pool of people, but this lady is A. But very nice to get a response!

Craigslist: I got this email today...

Hello,
I know of a nice couple near Quito, Ecuador.
They work with a Surgical team to match a living healthy donor
to their U.S. Kidney recipient.
The total package is 90k dollars which includes everything but
the airfare to Quito. From what I understand it even includes the
anti rejection drugs for post surgery.
If I can find out any more info for you just let me know.
Best regards,
DD (Name withheld by me)

I won't respond. Waste of time.  ::)

A friend has been donating his time to produce a short film about Jenna needing a kidney donor. We are also hoping to bring awareness to organ transplants and all the people waiting as well as living donation. We have interviews with a nephrologist, a living donor, a kidney transplant recipient and Jenna and I, so I am hoping it turns out good enough to share. We are getting close to being finished!

Craigslist deletes my ads occasionally so I have to keep reposting. I have heard from 2 women who say they have contacted the transplant team, but we have no way of knowing the status unless they update us.
