Dialysis making your boobs smaller?

 I know this is really petty. But i cant help but wonder. I think my boobs have shrank since starting D. My testorone (sp?) levels are higher then normal. When I was 90lbs in school I always wore a 34B bra, and now at 111 im like an A. I know Im skinny, but my whole life, i've been a B, and now they are almost non-existent at pretty much an A.

I just feel like a little kid at 4'11" with no boobs.

Anyone else notice this??

Yeah, I have too, but I've lost a lot of weight since I started dialysis.

i know my boobs got smaller, i was once a C, but then lost weight on the hospital renal diet, lol <instant lose 10 lbs lol> then shrank to a B when i lost all that weight, did 6 months of hemo, lost another 30 lbs and shrank to im pretty sure an A now, but im in denial and still wearing my B cups lol. idk u said u were 98lb s did u ever lose weight, u know karma is we lose boobies first. i know that how i losty mine... need to go bak to puberty and grow these suckers back lol

I think my wife's boobs have gotten smaller and that is with age not D.  But maybe they just hang lower and that makes them look smaller.

I was a 34B most of my life. I know the boobs got smaller when I would lose weight exercising and I hated it. After I got past 50, went through menopause, they got bigger. I am like a 34 C or D. I am short, a little under  ft now. I am not on dialysis, my husband is, so its not that. I sure can understand your despair with your breasts getting smaller though. I am wondering if the tittie fairy will come back after you girls go through menopause? She did for me. In fact when she came around for my daughters, she hung around longer then she ever did for me. I guess boobs getting smaller or often another one of those awfull things about dialysis. Maybe boobs are only inflated by water and in the body, and all since they are mostly all fat. So sorry you have to go through this. Do guys lose inches in their junk with dialysis?

It's funny how D does strange stuff to our bodies.  Lilli- I haven't much noticed smaller breasts, as much as the stretch marks, so I'm sure they are getting bigger and smaller simultaneously!  With fluid retention, and then losing that fluid, there are days when I'm thinking "man, this bra feels tight, or too loose", same with my pants, shirts, and even my sandals!  If the size of your breasts, really bothers you that much, I'm sure you can contact your local American Red Cross, or even the American Cancer Society, and ask if they have some donations available...they offer "falsies" bras with "breasts" built in.  You can also try a padded or water bra as well.  These are just ideas off the top of my head... I've honestly never had an issue with my breasts... I'm a bigger girl, and my breasts have also been big too.  When I played sports in high school, I hated them because they always got in the way.  If it had been up to me I probably would have bow and arrowed that "tittie fairy"!
Don't lose hope!  If nothing else, love yourself for who you are, inside and out.

I was asked to talk to a new man in our clinic about doing dialysis, they like what I have learned here in IHD. I wanted to make him less nervous so I thought telling him a joke would be good. I told him they do not want him to know, but dialysis makes your testicles shrink. You should of seen his face.

Not all men prefer large breasts, some live by the motto that more than a handful is a waste and smaller ones have an easier time defying gravity.  They are also easier to examine by whomever chooses to do the examination and are not a liability when exercising.  The main thing with breasts, like ALL body parts really, is that they work, as in function as they ought to, that they become aroused when necessary and provide nutrition when necessary.  The obsession with ginarmous headlights appears to be mainly a North American one and in the whole breast size discussion the more subtle issue of nipples seems to be generally ignored.

My boobs didn't shrink while on dialysis.  But the breast cancer took them.  A would be better than concave...  Sorry to be a downer.

Did anyone else picture the the titie fairy as this cute little fairy with big boobs that has to use all its wing power to get off the ground. 

I'm just going this out there for any guys that lost inches in their junk...just tie a couple of weights to it and take them back!! Don't let this disease win!!! 

As for me I have never had a problem I have stayed at a 36 C and even when i lost weight I stayed that size.

Oh man, I am so glad I gave you all a laugh! I agree with deniferfer, the tittie fairy is this little tiny thing with big boobs that can hardly get off the ground flapping her wings, falling over on her face several times before she could get lift off. Oh and I am dying laughing at iketchum telling the guy his balls would shrink with dialysis. I can only imagine the expression on his face! There are so many funny comments here I can't reply to them all. Love you grumpy!

That is the excuse that I am using!!!!!!  The Dialyzer is sucking the excess fluids from my body, that it's making everything shrink, including my "JUNK"!!!!  (but my g/f says it is not true . . . my waist hasn't gotten any smaller, HUMMMMMM??)
