Mitigate Cramps

Yesterday, in the chair, in the third hour of my dialysis, I started to get a strain on my chest, and pain, kind of a cramp, in my upper left arm, above my fistula. It's something I've encountered before. The nurse usually turns the flow rate down to the minimum or they give me some fluid if it's bad. But this time I started massaging my chest with a light touch, and running my hand up and down my shoulder and arm to stimulate the circulation. The pain went away. Every couple of minutes or so I'd run my hands up and down my arm and shoulder and chest, again, and the pain stayed away. This trick might help you if you find yourself with a similar problem, at least until the nurse notices you're in trouble.
By now you probably know some of the other tricks everybody uses to cope. If you leg hurts, raise it up. If you get a pain or a strain, shake it.

Whamo, It sounds to me like you mess about at the unit. Shouting mouse and now touching your self all over, what ever next.
