Oh yes, they said if I put a Tegaderm on it, I can shower tonight.  DH is going to a meeting, puppy is going into his crate and Mommy is taking a nice long shower.   :2thumbsup;

They had to cut to get mine out, and I had a stitch in, so I waited a couple of days, but man, that first shower felt SO GOOD.. *LOL*

It's been a year and a half now, and the novelty of a shower whenever I want has not worn off yet

oh you got that right.  I used to take showers for granted until I had to go on pd - i used the showering technique but it was a pain to put all the bandages back on after.

Now that there is only a fistula, i crank up the hot water and enjoy  :2thumbsup;

I took out mine a couple of weeks ago, fells great. Still sometimes adjusts as if its still there though :)
