Was just getting ready to post this but you beat me by an hour, but I am in Anchorage. Hell of a thing. Company should get some really good publicity. I hope national cable news picks this up

I think the 'flavor' of this tale that strikes me the most is the implication that she was a good worker, but the company somehow wanted to dump her.   Perhaps they simply were cramped, and felt they had no choice, perhaps they're just jerks who simply didn't want to deal with "the extra bother".   Can't tell from the article.   There are lots of employers who have accommodated transplant situations, dialysis-needing employees, and more, to their credit.

I sincerely hope the publicity about this issue will help her get a replacement job.
