I am SO EXCITED! I'm going to Camp Dorset this month in Dorset, Ontario, Canada
I'm so pumped to go and I just can't wait!
LOL! I am looking very much forward to a week away up North!
This is a very special camp that has dialysis machines at a clinic there.
I wouldn't be able to enjoy a vacation without this very special place in Ontario! I'm just so very thankful for it!

Thank you so very much everyone! Thank you for your kind words and best wishes.
I had never heard of it before I started dialysis and I was so happy to hear that they offer this to patients in our Region.
I think it's just awesome that they have dialysis machines there. They offer it to people doing home hemo, those on PD and also to kidney transplant recipients!

Camp Dorset is a fantastic resource for Ontario patients and families. They also just won $100,000 in the Pepsi Challenge (phosphorus aside) for new machines. Northern Ontario is really beautiful and it's such a tradition with all our lakes to get way to the cottage if one is lucky enough to have one to go to. Camp Dorset means so much to folks who otherwise might never get away and being able to get treatments there means real relaxation.
Hope you have a great time Cordelia....way back, I used to know a couple of nurses who volunteered up there and they loved it too. Remember the pics.

How wonderful for you!! Have a fantastic week. Years ago, my Mother was Executive Director of a camp that was for all disababled children, underpriveleged, etc. She was decades ahead of her time. It was a wonderful place to grow up. I wish more camps were available for everyone who needs to get away from their every day routine.
We all want to see pictures! Have fun.

I'm leaving soon and I'm so pumped and excited and so are my kids!
Just seems like one thing after another has been happening around here lately (today my air/conditioning broke down)
Cost me a hundred bucks just for the stupid service call, I was so unimpressed, but what can you do? I'm so anxious just to get away from everything!!!!
