Somewhere on here I read that dialysis clearance is getting us around a GFR of 10. Is that true?

ahhhh but don't forget, some people are started on dialysis a little before 15 because of an individual's medical circumstance and the fact the Dr.s desicion to start dialysis is not always only based on the GFR. It's the patient's overall health that matters. Hey I'm learning and I just had to share! lol

Because I do PD, I don't know anything about Vt/K ( think I even remember that wrong!). I only ever got GFR numbers. I started dialysis at a GFR of 8. I feel like I should feel so much better than I do. Then I read that about dialysis giving us a GFR of 10 and I thought, well, if that's the case, that explains why I Don't feel a lot better!
