You mean you got one of those little rubber mats that can do it all?  I had an insurance lady give me one of those recently.

That's one more reason I am glad I am at home now with NxStage, I don't have to get pissed every Christmas when Davita gives us this piss poor excuse for a gift.

You guys ever read my rant about my Davita Christmas present?

Joe got a small bag of candy from his center.  I guess the thought is nice, but come on, probably 75% of the people there are diabetics!   >:(

We had a catered Christmas party --Chicken, Beef , Rigatoni, Salad, Cottage cheese, Rolls, Cole Slaw, Cake, Cookies, Coffee, and punch. They had Frosty come pass out coloring books and crayons to our kids. And the Doctors gave every patient a poinsettia. It was pretty nice. Then when I went to dialysis the one day my dietitian gave me a bag of Clinique make up. It was VERY nice. I go to a private center and they are Awesome with us patients, they are very caring and always get me on on time, or on early. I feel bad for all of you that don't have private clinics.

What works as a jar opener, light bulb remover and garlic peeler?
I thought you were gonna say a roll of duct tape (which, by the way, would be a GREAT gift!)
Jenna got no gift, but we brought a big basket of goodies for the staff.

If they offer a gift, that's fine.  But why should we expect a gift in the first place?  And then when we receive their gift, we're not satisfied.    :-\

Come on!  They charge 30 to 40 thousand big ones a month and we get a bag of "chocolate" candy??  I was not at DaVita this Christmas as I was visiting.  But at the unit I was visiting we got a bag of candy that probably isn't on my renal diet.

EXACTLY "SWAG" (Stuff We All Get) is not a gift, it is just FREE advertising for them. I mean why else PLASTER their NAME (Davita) all over the products they give as Christmas presents?
