We have added a new section called: Dialysis: Medicare/Insurance to talk or rant about your insurance or Medicare issues or help others by sharing your experience. We will add some old posts and see how it goes. It may end up being a sub-section of Dialysis: FAQ's, but for now it is here http://ihatedialysis.com/forum/index.php?board=99.0

Also, keep in mind that there may be specific Medicare or insurance threads in the Transplant or News Articles sections, so it's always a good idea to use the search option if you don't find what you are looking for.

Thanks for the suggestion meinuk!  :thumbup;

This is a brilliant addition to IHD!  Thanks so much!

This is a fantastic idea.

Also (and NOT to take anyone away from our own forums), there are forums at homedialysis.org and one of those forums is moderated by Beth Witten, a renal social worker and part-time Medicare liaison. She works on the inside, so she is completely up-to-date on Medicare regulations and can answer pretty much any question a renal patient may have in regard to Medicare coverage. I just throw this out there as an additional resource for those of us on IHD who may not have stumbled across it yet:

Great point Desert Dancer.  Beth Witten is a GODDESS (she realy knows her stuff!)  I would suggest that if you have any serious questions, go over to

http://forums.homedialysis.org/forumdisplay.php/17-Beth-Witten-Social-Worker

But, Homedialysis Central is HOME Dialysis (everyone who is eligible should consider Home Dialysis IMHO) but I don't think they'll throw you out with an in-center question : ) Dori & Crew are Good People.

umm, and then come over here and cross post the question and answer!  :)
