The Melbourne Cup is on Tuesday and there is a horse in it that you see once in a lifetime. His name is 'So you think' and as well as him there are 9 international entries. It is regarded as the best field in the last 50 years. I like So you think and Americain.

Is 'So you Think' trained by Bart Cummings? I think so. I recently read Bart's autobiography which is a great read. Bart has had an extraordinary life. I always watch the Cup but never place a bet - I just love the buildup and then the excitement of the race.

I don't really bet on horses, but I did spend what I had left in my betting account* on So you think for the win. Although Shocking had enticing odds...

* all = 50 cents!!!
