I generally feel good too, as I think the majority of any issues I have are mental.. *L*  but after being on dialysis for over 6 years, I know that if I didn't go, I'd feel like crap, which I learned a few weeks ago when I had to skip a treatment cuz they went through the vein or something in my fistual and it swelled tot he size of a grapefruit.  I felt like crap, and from that I know that I will never purposfully skip a treatment

I got that only the other week, Riki. But I still got a treatment but with only one needle.

They threw all the 2-needle tubing and dialyser away and replaced it with single needle tubing and a different dialyser. I guess it wasn't as efficient at clearance as two needles, but I did get the same water clearance.

That's what they did with me, but they let me go home and come back the next day for treatment, to let my arm heal a bit.  My unit is pretty good with squeezing people in.  When I wanted to go to Hairspray last week, they actually called me the day of the show and said I could go in early, so that I'd be off with plenty of time to go to the show
