I will try and keep this short. I am a believer that there is an after life.

Two weeks ago an 94 year old lady that I had been helping out for a long while passed away in her sleep, so we never got to say good-by.

My husband is on a Baxter's Home choice pro machine, when we set it up we have 3 x 5000bags and a small extraneal. These bags are set up on the machine, they could not possibly fall off.Two days after my friend died my husband connected his self up and started to go to sleep, after 10 mins there was an almighty bang and when we turned the light on one of the 5000ml bags was flung across the room, we were gob smacked and brushed it off by saying my friend has come back to say good-bye.

My husband has got to go for a k/V test to-day so he had to do manuals yesterday, so no machine last night. We found it switched on this morning and it was flashing "connect patient line" Now every one who uses this machine knows it has to go through different stages and you get prompted to go through them. There were no bleeps, there were no bags. When it is not in use in the day time it has its own space.
Have I got a rogue machine or is it some thing else. It is weird.

I had to write this down. Do you think I need helpppppppppppppppppppppppppp

That's a pretty scary way to say 'goodbye' ... did you upset her? *chuckles*

That would really freak me out and (if it were me it happened to) I would have to assume that there was a rational explanation or I'd never sleep again!

Sounds kind of like the remote control for my TV.  All of a sudden most of the channels have tripled and all my Encore channels have disappeared.  Spooky is the right word for it!

I have a T.V. that turns on whenever there's a power outage and then the power comes back on.
It's very creepy. I wake up to the T.V. going at 3 a.m. sometimes in a dark thunderstorm. It took me a while to figure out the rational explanation.
I hope you find one too, because that's very scary.

We have a resident ghost in our house.  I'm going to miss her when we move.  It's a young girl, and she calls for her mom sometimes.  Mom started hearing her not long after we moved in, and I was on PD then, on the old Fresenius-Brent monster cycler.  Because I couldn't disconnect, Mom always thought it was me calling for her, so she'd check, and I'd be asleep, or reading or something, and hadn't called her.  Same would be true when she checked on my brother.

The girl liked my bedroom.  She used to turn the light on in there, and sometimes she'd unplug things on me.  Ask me sometime about the exgirlfriend of Bro's who refuses to come into the house anymore after the girl let Bro the the gf know she was around.  It's kinda funny.

Anyway, when I started PD again, I was on the Home Choice cycler.  I remember setting up the machine one night, opening all the clamps, and setting it to prime.  I went out to the living room to watch tv with my mom.  a few minutes later, the machine started to alarm, so I went into check, and the heater line clamp was closed.  I thought it was weird, so I opened it, set it again, and went back to the living room.  Didn't the alarm go again.  This time, one of the fill bags clamps was open.  This time I got mad, so I said out loud, "if you do that again, I'm getting an exorcist"  From then on, I never had an issue like that again.  She could play with anything she wanted, except the cycler, and I think she understood it after that.

A friend of mine was found last week in her condo, she had passed away unexpectedly. She was 55 years old. Yesterday I got an email from her -- the subject line said " ~ Hi ~ " and I was stunned to see it in my list of emails. Turns out it was spam, someone using her email address to send out viagra offers from Canadian Pharmacy. I cannot help but feel that I did hear from her, because the little ~ in the subject line is SO something she would do. So Kathie, if you're reading this, I love you and miss you, until we meet again.  :-*
