Has anyone else been pestered by their social worker at Fresenius to join their new healthcare plan? They have been after mom for months to join this new insurance. She has repeatedly told them that she wasn't interested, but they keep on pushing for it.Here in Indiana it's only valid in certain counties, and dialysis units.
Just wanted to know if anyone else was going through this right now.

I live in Indiana and not been bothered by them  my doctor is the Medical director at one of the centers and over the at home dialysis and he wants me to go to him because of convience for both of us, as of right now my doctor is covered by my Ins except for this particular clinic and so I have to have my clinic visits at his office and through davita  of which I am not all that happy with Davita,  The Social Workers have really been very nice to me and very helpful at trying to get my Ins to cover and for me to go there.  sorry you are being baggered, I have not had that issue

Wolfken,
My mom goes to in-center hemodialysis. The social worker is trying to get her to join this new insurance plan through Fresenius Medical Care.I don't know if this is happening all over the U.S. and Canada or if it's new to others as well as us.She already has other insurance coverage, but they want everyon to join their plan.

By the way ( if you don't mind my asking). What Nation are you? Mom's Lakota/Lenape and dad's Cherokee.Which makes me One Bad*ss Native  LOL

This is not an issue for us in Canada since we have universal health care, for which I'm thankful every day.

Hi there, I have been sniffing around and found out I am covered by the gov"t
and other organizations so I dont really have to worry about that....now to answer your question, I am full blood Anishnabe Indian, the non native writers have given us many names-
Chippewa, Woodland, etc....We have always lived in the Great Lakes Region and are made up of three Tribes, Ojibwe, Odawa and Potawattomi tribes- People of the three fires..

I have Fresenius and I don't even know what insurance you are talking about.  I still work and have private insurance so maybe that is why they dont talk to me about it.  My insurance just about supports their entire unit so they probably prefer what I have over theirs.
