I watched it on line.  I  am somewhat miffed that the nephs and  transplant docs allowed that girl to receive another kidney after she blatantly admitted to not taking her meds.   She should have been made to dialize for so long or face some sort of consequence for her actions.   And then, after all is said and done, she may still have her sister left as her best match if she needs a third.   The majority of us who need and want kidneys wait a long time for a gift we don't squander!!!! :banghead;

As the man with leukemia, bless him continued good health!

Not taking meds properly is the #1 reason teens lose their kidneys. I wish they had our wisedom, but they don't, their just kids. I try not to be so hard on them. Teen years are hard enough and they often get to the point where they want to be like all their peers so they do self destructive things like not take their meds.I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying I think it's harder when you're a teenager. I have two teens myself and I'm quite sure taking all those meds and living with kidney disease would be very hard on them. I'll bet th e teen in the show has learned her lesson well.
