In da House.

« on: January 10, 2010, 01:21:59 PM »

Ive not been around much cause i feel like crap. I had my brain scan on friday , no results yet! The pain in my eye is getting really bad and lasting longer , so its wearing me down. Still having issues with the sister on the unit (shes a total b****) There is a pattern developing when shes on . For weeks now i have not been in that little room and out of the light , in fact no one gives a shit, so if i cant stand the pain im just doing 3 hours and demanding they take me off, not good i know, but the pain is unbearable and now lasts for days. This sister is very sneaky so i dont know know what i can do anymore ? She has started to make me wait half an hour or so to put me on when i get there, NO shes not busy , shes walking round laughing and talking. She even commented on my clothes the other day !!!! Its been minus 11 here! and i went in wearing a t shirt and a fleece and she said 'you've got enough clothes on havent you ? ' What the hell has it to do with her? She seems to have singled me out for bed allocation and for putting me on (shes the unit boss) That coupled with the pain in my  eye is making me totally miserable , thats why i havent been on for a while .

Your time at dialysis does not sound very pleasant at all. This must be very hard on you. I am so sorry things aren't better for you.
I am hoping your brain scan turns out o.k. I get migraines and sometimes take migraine meds which helps. Hopefully your head-ache will be just as simple. Good luck.

This is awful, Kickstart.   You have been through too much.  I am so sorry that the pain is unbearable.  Please let us know when you get the results of the scan.  I am worried about you.  We love you.  Take care   :grouphug;

I wouldnt be worried if it was migraine ! But this is a pain in my eye and just above my eyebrow , it feels like someone is drilling through it ! In fact even when i dont have the pain i have a very tender area just above my left eye all the time . Ps my right eye and right side of my head are fine !

Likewise. Dialysis, itself, is bad enough, without all the rotten comlplications.
