Thankyou everone for your messages of support and all the PM's.  :grouphug; Im trying over the weekend to take a more positive stand as on saturday my treatment was so different (different shift of nurses) They were aware of my situation and the tests im waiting for. Yes the pain and vomiting started again and they said to me just do as much as you can , we are on standby to take you off. Well i try and do a maximum of 3 hours regardless just to get some decent dialysis and on saturday before i had even asked they came to me and took me off as soon as i had done 3 hours. The difference .....the nurse that told me i was going to die left me with a bp OF 220/146  !!!! Saturday i came off with a bp of 200/90 , still high i know , but not unusual for me !
As for therapy i ve been having it for weeks , but dont find someone nodding in the right places much help ! However tomorrow she is going to earn her wages as im going to lay all this on her doorstep , let her sort it out with my neph and tell them never to let that nurse near me again or i will walk out , i will also make it my business that she brings it to the attention of whoever just how im being talked too !

You are one of the strongest women I know!  You always amaze me.  You keep fighting, even when it seems impossible to fight one more battle.  I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.    :cuddle;

I don't quite buy the idea that the "evil nurse" cares too much and can't express it.

I have found almost ALL the dialysis nurses I have seen and dealt with have an extra level of empathy for what we are dealing with. I think it is because the longer they spend in the renal system the more they know us (over long periods of time) they know how it is.

Back in 2006 when my mother was dying she had this most incredible nurse who was always there for her, brought in pictures of her cat to cheer my mum up, even spent extra time with her after her shift ended. She was amazing and we all loved her. We found out at some point that she'd moved to that ward from renal... it said a lot. That same nurse dropped by our unit the other day because one of her patients was in for dialysis.. all the staff remarked how they missed her and everything. A very close knit community.

As for KS's nurse......
