One english muffin with Heart Smart and a small smear of peanut butter. One cup of coffee, meds. and all the water I can hold. Sorry, I am not on D yet, but have found that if I dont drink at least 2 bottles of water ( 16 oz) I will be in for leg cramps at night.

We have switched!

I start a small crockpot of hot multigrain cereal at night and there it is ready for breakfast in the AM. I add my 3/4 cup up blueberries and I have purple hot cereal!  :rofl;

Wow that is a really good idea.  Do you think it will work with cream a wheat? That would be so nice for times I don't feel good for the kids. Tho it really isn't that hard for me to make them cream a wheat. Im just lazy. Lol

I have never had grits.  I can only think of My Cousin Vinny and the fact that they take 20 minutes to cook.

    Ah but they have "instant" gritts now.  Packaged like instant oatmeal.  You can microwave them.  Never saw them though till I moved to North Carolina.
    And keeping with the purpose of the thread, this morning Crispex.

   I admit they are an aquired taste. I sweeten them, it helps.  I grew up eating them. Didn't know any better  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

   Hot tea with lemon?  Yucky, like hot tea but drink it "straight" no aditives.

   Ice tea with lemon?

I'm thinking Eggs Benedict.... lets see what I have in the pantry.

Slice of stale white bread
Ends from a can of spam
Eggs
Sauce left over from last weeks roast

Yep, that's work.  Eat your hearts out people.

My breakfast is always one of 3 choices - cereal, toasted english muffin with strawberry jam, or 2 slices whole wheat bread toasted with cheese.

One egg omelette, with cream cheese, two cherry tomatoes diced, fresh basil, teaspoon of diced ham, black pepper.  Wrap in a warm tortilla and eat.  Renal friendly I think.
