http://money.cnn.com/2006/10/03/magazines/business2/healthcare_home.biz2/index.htm?postversion=2006100316Hey that guy looks familiar. (Business 2.0 Magazine) -- Bill Halcomb's three-times-a week sessions at a local dialysis center used to consume a total of 15 hours, depriving him of time to run his kidney patient website, Ihatedialysis.com.
Now the 34-year-old Southern California man says he's reclaimed his life by controlling his treatment with a new portable home dialysis machine. (more)

Hollywood here you come! I think aspot on Oprah would do wonders for the site and for the kidney failure community as a whole. We are a large part of society, yet little is understood. THe lifestyle changes alone could be chatted about for hours, like we do here at IHD.com

I second that hoping it will be here in Australia very soon suppose the more people hear about it will help that happen. Fingers crossed we don't have to wait to long.

I AGREE!! I have often daydreamed (okay, call me wierd but don't laugh) about myself on Oprah telling her my story and how i felt that kidney disease is not widely enough talked about on tv commercials like AIDS and Heart&Stroke is ... and how people really need to sign their donor cards as heaven KNOWS we need the organs here (taken from a slogan). Good Job Epoman on promoting dialysis and even better promoting NXstage to the world. I hope they are able to global so I can benefit from NXstage in the UK.
Definately a good thing!!

I use Fresenius IQ Freedom Cycler. I love Fresenius, and yes its still around and did not switch to baxter. Baxter is its own company and both are in certain areas... some areas have the option of either or. (This is in the morning after im done, the bags are hanging in the back on the right side b/c they are draining.. once done draining they will be thrown away)
