Update: I'm having surgery on August 18th at Scripps Memorial Hospital. I'm going to have an abdominal hysterectomy. The surgeon will also be removing my ovaries, fallopian tubes and possibly my abdominal nodes. I was hoping for laproscopic (sp) but because of the tumor size it's not an option for me. The surgeon said that it feels abnormal but until he is able to see it and take a biopsy he won't have a definitive answer. I'm concerned about the healing process and how I'll be able to tolerate dialysis. I'm fortunate to have the best gyn/oncology surgeon in San Diego. The hospital has internet access so I'll post as soon as I can. Thanks for your continued prayers and support.
