This thread got my attention...  Was there a serious question there?

Do any men have sex while on dialysis and if so do you take Viagra or have a sex drive any more and can you still get it up? HONEST question this is not a joke

The first question in the thread.

My husband says the catheter is just one more good reason to wear a sexy corset!  Before I got sick he was always coming up with good reasons to wear corsets - he's soooo thoughtful!  We have no problems with the logistics of it (I'm on a cycler and it doesn't make any difference - just have to make sure you don't get hooked on the tube) but there's definitely a problem with my tiredness.  Interesting reading back over this thread about the hormones etc.  I might look into that.  I'd like to 'want to' a bit more often!! Ha ha.

I think you could do it in a dialysis chair - but you'd have to be very brave about everyone watching ha ha.  It can't be that much more difficult that the back of a car...ooops I'm giving away too much information here eh?  I'm only talking about sex with a PD catheter in - I think it's a mental problem more than a physical one.

There were a couple of good looking nurses and a hot secretary in the unit.  With 4 hours of nothing to do the mind wanders
Tell me about it theres a very gorgeous secretary in my unit too my goodness she has the most sweet angelic voice, everytime i see her i just get full of life again. But as for males losing their libido that scares me,i have not had that problem i'm still good for 5 hours lol.
