Apples, apples, and more apples.  I'm making an apple pie from scratch tonight.  Been having baked apples for dessert almost every night - core them, put them in a microwave safe dish, and fill the center with butter, raisins or dried cherries, cinnamon and sugar, and nuke under the apple is nice and soft.  Yummmmmm.I've got a recipe for apple cheddar soup that I really want to try, so I guess dinner will be soup and binders and nothing to drink to make up for the fluid in the soup!

Anything that bakes well in a pie works.  I'm using Galas right now.

Tonight i made some ghoulash (sp) which consists of: ground beef, stewed tomatoes, squash, celery, carrots, corn and i made some white rice.   I get some chun king crunchy noodles, put the white rice on the noodles and then the ghoulash on the white rice, top it off with some green onions and a dash of soy sauce, and VOILA, dinner is served  :2thumbsup;

Frozen pizza.

Susie, that's interesting! I find it funny we all call our own styles "ghoulash" but not many people make it the same way! :) I have never had it your way, but it sounds yummy and I am thinking of trying it next time I make ghoulash!

My Mom used to make Hungarian Goulash, but I don't know if that's the same thing. It had ground beef, macaroni, tomatoes, onion, tomato sauce and a few other spices.

Last night grilled shrimp and spinach salad.  The kids wanted to go out so we took them to Appleby's, always a favorite of my teenager.  Of course all the teenagers wanted to do was play MASH.  I can't remember ever having to chide a kid just to get her to look at the menu but it took several attempts last night.

I had goulash twice this week.  My wife made a big batch for a sick friend.
