I had bar-b-q ribs, steak fries, and hush puppies at Dan's Bar-B-Q, and I forgot to take my renagel! lol My dietician said it would be okay to forget every once in a while bc I don't need it that badly and don't take very much of it, so don't get mad at me!! lol ;)

Field green salad, alfredo sauce with egg noodles, battered venison steak, followed by hot cherries on a crumb crust, topped with whipped cream and grated dark chocolate.

I was in the mood to cook tonight.

nice meal :clap;-what is battered steak -is that like a big battered (deepfried) steak (deer) that is actually fried? what is the batter and how much oil?

I have a nice little pack of tenderloin.....

ummm. . .it's sort of double battered - first with a meat tenderizer, then with a mix of flour and seasonings.  ;D  Paprika, pepper, a dash of salt, a bit of garlic powder.  Depends on what I have.  Then I coat the griddle in lots of butter before putting on the steak.  Yummy and tender enough to cut with a fork.

I was invited to a friends home yesterday and they were going to cook me a home-cooked meal, but the person backed out.  :-\ They had invited me and I was going to drive 4 hours each way to their house just to visit them and have dinner, but they backed out.  :'(

Isn't that right Susie?

And just who could that have been denying poor Epoman a meal??  You could come out this way and hook up out here. We have restaurants. I will not subject you to my cooking.
