tonight we had support group for PD and they made some meatballs from the davita cookbook which were quite good,  the speaker brought in sammiches from Quiznos (excellent) and Lori, my PD nurse made the apple muffins from the cookbook as well, (highly recommend them) oh, and we washed them down with apple cider and our binders  :P (naturally) ::)

Better not tell what dinner was tonight. Food to go was what was in it.

the later 1/2 of the month I am very good as blood work is the first week of the month. Usually as soon as it is the 20th I try to do everything right. So I have my binders with everything and eat lots of white rice and corn (good thing I am not diabetic!!)

I have a confession to make.  We didn't go out last night.  I wimped out at Walmart while picking up frozen lunches for the week and bought a tray of Stouffer's enchiladas...they were very good.  Nina...you didn't miss anything.  :2thumbsup;

You know those ramen noodles, my wife will make it then add carrots, celery, and hard boiled egg some times she will even add beef. It's actually pretty tasty. Yeah I know high in sodium but it is good.

But getting back to you did you say dry, uncooked?  :o

I like ramen noodles, but I usually throw away the little packet that comes with them.  That is where the sodium is.  I boil the vegetables first and then add the noodles.   Uncooked?  never heard of that.

They are really good uncooked.  They are actually already cooked, just dried or fried - I forget which.  It's like chips sort of.  Crunchy, and addictive.  Try it one time.

 Uncooked Ramen noodles...YUM  ;)  Actually I just eat the broken pieces in the package.  Occasionally if not enough of it is broken, I'll brake more off.  LOL

I had to work from 3-7 tonight so I eat just before work.  I don't like to eat much after work.  Today I had Long John Silvers.   2 fish, 1 chicken, 4 shrimp, french fries, cole slaw and 2 hush puppies.  Almost finished it all.  Oh Yea...I know this is bad. 2 medium cups of Mountain Dew.    :o  :'(  took 3 Phoslo w/ meal.......

Tonight it is seafood lasagne for me and rotisserie chicken and rice for Joe.  Unfortunately I looked on the label for the rotisserie chicken and they put sodium phosphates somewhere in that chicken damnit!  Don't know why they just can't make something wholesome for once.    >:(
