I am making fried pork chops, mashed potatoes & gravy, and rice with broccoli & cheese. I'm just eating the pork chops and potatoes. I'm not allowed to have the broccoli or the cheese...

Home made chicken nuggets (chicken breasts cut up into chicken nugget size pieces and then covered in italian bread crumbs then deep fried), tater tots, and whole kernal corn.

A salad, some grilled smoked sausage, and cherry pie filling for dessert.  I took my cue from Zach, and just had the filling, no crust.  I added cool whip, though!

well...I tried to make renal friendly chili---it came out more like beanless,heavyily spiced taco style meat--it was good though-but wasn't that close to chili-the lack of tomato product was hard to subsitute for-anyone else have a fairly renal friendly recipe?

You can still use tomato products.  It takes some looking though and not all products are the same so make sure it is labeled with Na and the K to be sure.

A couple that I use are: no salt added S&W peeled ready cut tomatoes.  As per the label on my can it is 105mg of K and 30 mg of Na per 1/2 cup serving and Private Selection organic no salt added diced tomatoes  which are 210 mg of K and 50 mg of Na per 1/2 cup serving also as per the label.

Last night, I went to Red Lobster. I ended up drinking 3 glasses of tea, when usually I only drink 1. I went to the mall afterwards and all that tea went to my feet and hands...I now know why we have limits on how much we drink! lol Anyway, I ate fried crawfish, coconut shrimp, and fries. :)

Tonight for dinner i made spaghetti,  didnt eat spaghetti, saving it for tomorrow, i ate homemade tacos with ground beef, lettuce, tomatoe, (a little bit of cheese) and some thin slices of avocado,  they were pretty good considering i didnt fry the shells (gotta watch my figure ya know)  ::) psha, yah right   :P

i went grocery shopping.  was going to make A scrambled egg with sausage, bacon and an onion bagel with cream cheese.  then i was like, "oh hell no, i just cleaned my kitchen".  so i went to dairy queen and had a chicken strip basket with onion rings.  :-\

I made chicken "oven fried" and had leftover last night's homeade minestrone soup (with a lot of pasta in it), and my own semi low-sodium version of rice-a-roni:  I take 1/2c rice....and 1/2c orzo (u can also use 1" peices of spaghetti). I suatee it in 2T of margarine....add a small minced onion or shallot....brown the rice  and pasta a bit....add a 150z can of low-sodium chicken broth and enough water to make 2 cups total......add to the rice mixture......bring to a boil.....let simmer covered for 20 minutes. It's great and somewhat less in sodium than rice a roni (and less chemicals)

Oh I miss Dairy Queen! We had them in Alabama, where I used to live, but they don't have them down here in Florida, where I live now.  :'(

Ok here's what we ended up doing.  We supported three restaurants up here for dinner tonight.  We ate at the Elephant Bar, we picked up for a friend at the Olive Garden next door, and the kids wanted In N Out so they got that.  Now I'm stuck in the middle of a three girl sleepover that probably won't get quiet till about 4AM...why did I let that happen?

Kitkatz...like I told you before, just walk around in there and look for the ugly fistula...mine will be the only one.
