Chris, come to Houston and I'll take you, not only to the state, but to the town where they make Blue Bell ice cream.  They have tours and give samples too.....

we have been on the Blue Bell tour many years ago
and I have been told that the samples are no longer free -
hope it is wrong -

MandaMe -- the banana pudding Blue Bell has the vanilla wafers, bananas and meringue --
it is not banana pudding with cool whip -- it has to be baked with meringue  --

$3.00 for tour, but how much for a gallon of ice cream? Cuz taking a tour the whole day may not be cost effective to just get one little sample.  :rofl; :rofl; :rofl; :rofl;

it used to be free
and the tour does not take long at all
less than an hour
unless you watch the movie -- it is short
and you get one little scoop of ice cream in a small cup
unless you want to pay for more
it's all about the money

maybe Blue Bell is coming to California
we have ads where cow are asking to move to California
they sing and dance and audition

OMG what is happening to this world.  Only one scoop?  And a charge for the tour?  Well, at least we could watch Bubba in practice while we were there....

And they want over $100 to ship 4 containers of ice cream :urcrazy; Why make 4 the minimum? Sell more to more people by lowering the minimum to at least 2. I can fit 2 in my fridge, not 4!

Yeah if it was sold near my home. Our main ice cream is Bryer's, Edy's, Dean's and the small specialty ones of Ben and Jerry, Hagen Daz. Hagen Daz is not all that great eitherfor the price they charge.

Yes we have a Cracker Barrel here, we had dinner there for our IHD meet last August. My luck though, they would not have the Banana ice cream.

Twirl, there lies in the problem. No idea how or where to get dry ice or would be awfully expencive to ship a container heavily filled with ice for next day shippment. Imagine the questions they would ask about what are you shipping and why  ;D :rofl;

You know what Fed Ex will ship dry ice.  They have to pack it though, you take every thing and they do the packing. I can buy dry ice all over the place here, it gets to hot in the summer people buy dry ice to keep in coolers for games and stuff.  Ice melts to fast.  It will probably cost a lot though.  I would call and ask them.

Banana Pudding is the same as banana ice cream to me as long as there are no nuts in it like Ben and Jerry's chunky monkey (could be set up for a bad joke with a name like that!)
