Feb 13, 2008 - Activated on "the list".
Nov 5, 2008 - Received living donor transplant from my sister-in-law, Etta.
Nov 5, 2011 - THREE YEARS POST TRANSPLANT!

A one piece is barely acceptable in my Vegas hot tub!!!! I suppose I have to allow it given I'll be wearing on!!! ROFL ROFL ROFL !!!

Found out I had kidney disease when I was 15.
Started dialysis when I was 20.
Got a kidney transplant when I was 25.
Kidney failed at 37 and I began my second journey on dialysis.

There is NO WAY I'll be in a two-piece, but I'll work on a one-piece body. NO WAY I say!!! I have a Frankenarm now! I don't even go sleeveless - and that's just the arm. My fat body is a whole other issue!
And what my husband doesn't know won't hurt him!
If he goes with, he'll be too busy gambling and smoking big fat cigars! But then again, if you have lots of women in two-piece bathing suits in a hot tub he might just have to join us. You'd be his hero, Richard!

Wow Beth...sounds like your plate is full. I am hoping your transplant last many more years. My transplant didn't last long enough either. I had mine for 17 years. It was a good run but not long enough for me.
