Measurements are not exact and this is Kit's fault she made me do it heheh

aboute 2 cups of graham cracker crums and a stick of softened butter, mix together and press into a 9X9 pan
pour some chocolate syrup on top. 
Take a package of softened cream cheese and fold in most of a container of cool whip and put on top of the syrup
slice up some bananas and chunks of canned pineapple then top with the rest of the cool whip and crushed walnuts and let set and enjoy

What are graham crackers? I can't find them here in the UK, perhaps we call them something different, I did wonder if it's digestive biscuits?? We don't have cool whip either but I expect any type of whipped cream type product would do?

It appears that digestive biscuits may be what you want.

The graham cracker was developed in 1829 in Bound Brook, New Jersey, by Presbyterian minister Rev. Sylvester Graham. Though called a cracker, it is sweet rather than salty and so bears some resemblance to a cookie (American English) / biscuit (British English) (although the term is unheard of in the United Kingdom/Republic of Ireland - a digestive biscuit is the closest approximation). The true graham cracker is made with graham flour, which is unsifted and coarsely ground wheat flour.

It was originally conceived of as a health food as part of the Graham Diet, a regimen to suppress what he considered unhealthy carnal urges, the source of many maladies according to Graham. Reverend Graham would often lecture about the adverse effects of masturbation or "self-abuse" as he called it. One of his many theories was that one could curb their sexual appetite by eating bland foods. Another man who held this belief was Dr. John Harvey Kellogg, the inventor of the corn flakes cereal.

Graham crackers are used for making smores and finely crumbled graham crackers are often used for pie crusts.

Actually Cool Whip is a "non-dairy whipped topping".  I expect most whipped cream products will liquify after a bit, but the non-dairy stuff holds up better.  It is usually the item of choice when making many of these desserts, as it mixes well with things like pudding, jello, or cream cheese.
