Diet Crush is yummy

I just tried Diet Crush Orange soda. It is super yummy. One note though, it is low calorie but not sugar free. Read the label for carb counting if you are diabetic.

It is caffeine free, 70 mg sodium and 6g carb per 12 ounce can.

Hmm  I love orange soda so this may be a good try! Although I can hardly ever find diet orange sodas

I prefer Diet Orange Crush over Diet Orange Sunkist due to taste difference. Pepsi use to have one that was good also awhile back that I would drink more than the Diet Orange Crush. It was before Pepsi came out with Sierra Mist. I'm gonna have to Google for the name now.

If you have Shasta in your area, try Diet grape Shasta, that is good also. Unfortunately they do not sell it in my area, I bought a few while I was in Nebraska. I have one can left.

Diet crush is awsome. Haha. Diet Barq's root beer is awsome too. Its hard to find. When if you ever see it pick it up.  I am a diet cafeen coke, and dr. peppr fan myself.

WARNING  I apologize in advance to anyone who gets pissed off when I appear to be on my soapbox about healthy eating and drinking but here I go again.  Sodas are a really poor choice for any person to drink on any kind of regular basis but especially so for renal patients.  The first problem is the phosphorus content of many sodas (diet coke is actually one of the "better" ones although I personally avoid them all) and then there's potassium and caffeine but an even bigger problem is the fact that they can be linked to osteoporosis and osteopaenia, and frankly we have enough troubles as it is.

I'd like to say that I only point these things out because some people are not aware of them and do themselves harm out of not knowing.  If you are aware of how detrimental some of these nutritional issues are but have decided that you don't mind adding to the list of complications that can and will plague us all as we age, then knock yourself out.  I have osteopaenia and am working very hard to reverse the loss of bone density that I have already suffered.  Incorporating weight bearing exercise and actual weights into my workout has helped quite a bit but gains are easily lost.

The list doesn't have what you can drink like A&W Root Beer.  I really don't care because I drink mostly water and Rice Milk.  Sometimes an A&W little 4oz can.

Sorry, but soy milk and rice milk taste nasty to me. I don't care if it is healthy when it taste bad. I'm not going to eat or drink something that taste bad.

MMMMM, Diet A&W Rootbeer and Cream Soda are good and haven't had those in a long time. Diet Dad's and Hires Root Beer are ones I miss. Diet Barqs is ok in small quantities to me, has a woody taste.

Is Nehi still around? I remember that and Crush before becoming a diabetic in '78.

Tried to search for old Pepsi products for the Orange soda they use to have, but could only find failed products they had. Who remembers Crystal Pepsi?

Chris soy milk can be alright if you buy the right one.  So can goat milk if it is prepaird right.  As for diet barq's I have a soda every once and a while so I wouldn't know what its like in large amounts. But woody tast? Huh I must like wood *smile*

But yeha I remember cyrstal pepsi and what did they have for a while pepsi blue the soda that kinda tasted like bubble gum. Haha.    I used to like pepsi one but I haven't seen that in a long time either.

Manda, we have Barq's here that is easily available. Maybe I'm a rootbeer snob/conesaure..lol, but compared to other rootbeers, it has a woody kinda taste to it similar to Vernons Ginger Ale, which is another Coke Product I believe. Have to double check on that when I go to the store. We also have the Pepsi One still here also. Unfortunately each market is different across the state. Pepsi Blue was a flob, only lasted 2 years before Pepsi pulled the plug according to what I read about it on the internet.

To tell you the truth I don't drink soda all that much. And I am lame I stick to the same thing everytime. But I have trouble finding barqs diet here.  Pepsi one was good stuff, you should drink a can for me  as far as Pepsi blue that stuff was pretty nasty.  It was way to sweet, and the diet was all weird. haha  Not a flavor that should be made into a soda
