I'm going to go ahead and ask for assistance to help set up our Vegas trip this year. I'm hoping Kitkatz will offer but I wouldn't ask that in public forum because how could she say no? right?  Mark your calendars for the weekend of October 10th 2009 As the possible date.

If we decide to meet in San Antonio TX, what date from the poll would be best?

The cooler the better.  Either April, or September.  April is great in SA. :flower; :flower; :flower;

April would be great!   June, July and Aug do get hot, but if ya'll can stand it I can.  Well, I have to.

Again, Fiesta Texas (Six Flags) and Sea World both have wonderful waterparks to be lazy in.  The Riverwalk has plenty of restaraunt/bars to hang out in, as well.  All with A/C.  Walking around shopping, seeing the Alamo and/or Missions will be hot, but so well worth it!    Bring a big hat, some sunglasses and sun screen .  It's all good!

I can try any of the above dates, April school is in session, but it still may be ok.  Please just keep me informed.  I agree, earlier in the year is better.  June is not terrible, but anything afrter really is too hot.  September in Texas is like the hottest muggiest time...   :twocents;

It was supposed to be funny Rolondo..  ;)  Don't make solid plans yet! I'm just waiting for comments from people to if that date works. As soon as I hear from most people then we will set the for sure date. Everyone will be notified of the for sure date. Sorry if this created any confusion.

i have a wedding in october, so i'm guessing anywhere is out for then. i just can't see me traveling 2 weekends in the same month. but san antonio in september would be good. however (don't ya just luv it) pick dates, any dates, if i can be there i will. i somehow doubt that we will find a time that's good for everyone.

Maybe keep the traditional date for the fall meet up in Vegas.  And then the best date for the majority for the second meet-up.  I am sure our wise and faithful leader (that is you, Sluff!) will make a marvelous decision.   :clap;

April seems like the best to me.  When people start talking about heat, I shudder.  Give me a cooler time, please!

Well if I can make it to SA, it would have to be Aug or Sept, but I would be hard to go to Vegas. Vegas seems where most people go though.

Makes sense to do one in the spring and one in the fall.  Sounds like October is a hit for Vegas...so maybe April in Texas?  I could only make one...and Vegas has the cheaper flights from here, therefore this is just a logistical opinion.
