I like cooking it, I like eating it and I like the fact that my husband likes it, so it's rewarding for both of us. Makes for a little relaxation and offers something to be happy about. Must be the chili powder... And some nights I want to be really bad and make a side of cornbread to be bathed in butter to go with it. Ooops, did I say that?? Gotta go shopping tomorrow...Hi PrimeTimer,Cornbread with lots of butter sounds good with the chili. YUM!!!Cooking can be very therapeutic.I have been working on a renal-friendly lasagna recipe.I'll let you know when it's ready.

Ahh! That wonderful smell wafting through the kitchen HAS GOT to be Zach's chunky chili! Okay, okay...so I haven't actually made a batch yet this season but it's so darn good I swear I can smell it in my mind. That's right, I dream of a hot bowl of chili and some cornbread. As the weather turns cooler, the taste buds crank up for some hot chili! FOLKS, IT IS TIME!!
Women, we will NEVER understand them.
