I am in a state of complete and utter shock right now. They have accepted my sis-in-law as a donor!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I couldn't believe my ears when she said it. I have many questions as to why her and not my 1st brother. If I understood her correctly last week she said she had "200 mcg protein in her 24-hr". They denied my brother with 168 mcg protein in his 24-hr urine. Maybe I misunderstood. Maybe my brother had something other than the protein. Maybe my brother changed his mind. Many questions and many prayers of thanks! She meets with a surgeon on Wednesday to discuss the surgery, recovery, etc. Apparently, she was told we couldn't schedule anything until after Nov 4th anyway. I see my neph on 10/09, so after I get back from VEGAS BABY we may be scheduling surgery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG! That's all I can say at this time. Now let's everyone pray that we have no obstacles that prevent this from happening!

I'm excited for you Kelly and now I"ll put all my thoughts towards hoping everything goes well. My sis-in-law is supposed to be coming up here in October for her testing and I hope I can eventually post similar news to yours.
