Hi All!    :flower;

I trust everyone is well. Just a little update… I am officially on the transplant list. I was surprised they gave me a pager. I figured they would just call me on my cell phone if something came up.
So far I’ve had a friend express interest in getting tested to be a donor. Then she kind of backed out of it because a cousin of hers was just diagnosed with diabetes. I get the feeling she backed out because she is now afraid she could get diabetes and end up losing her kidneys.
And the only other person who wants to get tested is my ex husbands niece. She is the only person in that family I kept in contact with after I divorced her uncle. She is so sweet….I told her about being placed on the transplant list. Now she wants to get tested. She is 21 years old and just started working on her bachelors in accounting. I told her that she doesn’t have to worry about it and that I would be just fine. She keeps insisting on wanting to get tested. I tell ya….it’s nice to know there are at least two people out there who have it in them to at least want to help me out in this manner.
 PS at last check my creatinine was 4. A few short weeks ago it was 3.8

Hi Rerun,

I don't have a catheter in place yet. I am hoping to wait till the last minute before I have to start PD.
And yes it is a sort of sweet revenge to know that my ex's niece is more loyal to me than to him.  :rofl; She said she doesn't speak to him because she knows he cheated on me. Plus she said I have always been there for her more so than her uncle.
