BigSteve - yes, talking about Aussie Rules Football (AFL)... and my team, the Richmond Tigers (who came stone motherless last last year) beat the Carlton Blues - who were favoured to win the game for many reasons. We got 'em big time!

Well at the unit yesterday I did take my scard he he... all the nurses came up to me and said it was great we won etc and it was cool.. then the Carlton supporter came in... I said hi to him (not mean or anything.. just hi).. he said "I don't want to talk about it!" lol.. so I didn't.. though later on I did make a positive comment about some of the players on his team.. but maybe he thought I was being sarcastic so didn't respond. Oh well.

Anyway I talked with some of the nurses about what I did for him on Tuesday and they said it was good but aparently some others aren't too wrapped (ie: the bosses) that I shouldn't have been doing the job of the nurses. So I guess my days of being an assistant are over llol.

And just for the record the same thing happened yesterday - as in sleep, lines blocked, machine alarm, nurse spending hours by his machine....

well I just said I'd be happy to help again if it was OK.
