Pros: It's been three months now and I've been feeling so good afterward I go immediately to the gym and workout for 90 minutes to two hours. I find that when I try to go to the gym on the weekend BEFORE a treatment, I just don't feel as energized and have trouble finishing my regular routine. So I'm really happy about getting in shape and feeling better all around. I'm also more focused and able to do my job much better because of the added treatments. Before on three days a week, I was forgetting things and my on-air performance was suffering.
To be honest, that's probably the main reason I chose to move to six days a week. I've been in love with radio since I was twelve years old and anything that takes away from that has to be dealt with.
Cons: My God am I sick of Dialysis. There have been a couple weeks when I call the clinic by 5pm to tell them I'm not coming in. This mostly has to do with my access because my pain issues continue. And the last thing I want to do is start downing 2000mg. of Vicodin again. I've already suffered some hearing loss from excess use. Some nights though, and I know you've been there, the pain is unbearable. I've developed quite a good level of pain resistance, but there's only so much suffering a person can endure.
Any other questions, just let me know.

Stacy, I'm glad to hear it's working out so well for you! I hope your boss has noticed the better job you're doing - every little bit helps, right? In a previous post, someone asked you if buttonholes were a possibility in order to help with the pain. I'm not completely sure how they work, but from what I've learned on IHD, it seems like that would help with your pain issue. Have you found anything out about that?
