Does anyone know if the nxstage machine is available in canada? my nurses and doctors either flat out havent heard of it or they just look at me funny when i bring it up. the only home hemodialysis i've heard of here involves a full size dialysis machine and that sucks for me.

The last I heard it was still not available in Canada, but they were looking into moving north, believe it is more a matter of logistics than anything else, they are still working out parts and supply kinks in just the lower 48......

I asked about it here on the west coast and they said it wasn't an option. :(

They have no immediate plans to expand into Canada, at least according to my NxStage rep.  They are expanding in the US faster than they can keep pace with at the moment, so I doubt you are going to have the option for a few years at least.
