Thumbs up, down

From the Editorial Page staff and online readers

(February 9, 2008) —

Thumbs up: For the Girl Scouts from Troop 427 of the Genesee Valley Chapter who made blankets for the patients at the Long Pond (Park Ridge) campus of Unity Health System Dialysis. The girls take the time to make 20 to 30 blankets for dialysis patients to use during their treatments. We are truly grateful for the blankets and their visit to our unit. The parents should be very proud of these young ladies and their efforts to reach out and care for others within their community.
