Are prostate problems common after out put stops? I had some small problems my first time on dialysis and my output stopped. It may be starting again. Any experience with this?

There is no reason why low urinary output would cause prostate problems, although if you already have prostate enlargement, declining urine output could seem more extreme than it really is, given the problem of urinary retention in the bladder and the narrowing of the urinary stream.  Dialysis increases the cancer risk of patients, which could be one cause of prostate enlargement.  But dialysis also drastically lowers male hormone levels, which will naturally tend to decrease the size of the prostate over time.
