A Major disaster!  I dropped my DVD Player and it smashed the screen.  So on Tuesday I do not know what I am going to do on Dialysis. I Have not had a chance to get a new one. Looks like its going to be a boring Day. TV crap, Then to make it worse, the Bloody patients started singing on Saturday. But this lot try to sing every time on dialysis. Think I might take the plug of the CD Player, that should stop them. Just give me the gun ;D

Sorry about your DVD player.  That would really stink.  I come loaded down with entertainment options.  Besides a DVD player, I have a book or magazine, an MP3 player for music or podcasts of talk radio, and even a handheld Yahtzee game.  A portable CD player is great as well.  If you have the ability to burn CD's on a computer, get a portable CD player that can read MP3 discs and you can carry hundreds of songs on one disc.  I got closed-back headphones which help block external noise.  It's almost like moving day every time I go to dialysis!

BTW, at our unit, there's one nurse who loves to sing.  She's also susceptible to "ear worms", or gettting songs stuck in her head.  I love to plant obnoxious ear worms in her brain.

Well, coincidently the video card was going out and all it did when she knocked it off was break the clasp that shut the screen down to the base.  So I took it back because of the video card and I got a new one.

BUT....if she had broken it, I would not expect her to pay for it.  PLUS she probably wouldn't.  Do you think the Clinic would pay for it.  NO.... plus they would make a new rule "NO DVD players during dialysis.   :thumbdown;
