Definitely feel bad on D days. That means Tuesday Thursday and Saturday I am good for nothing. Leave me alone, don't ask me to do anything for you or with you. The other four days I feel like a normal person again.

I take a bottle of water WITH me to my treatments. I try to keep my weight gain down to under 2k on weekends and less than 1 on weekdays.
At the center where i do my treatments,if you feel a little ODD or even think you may get a cramp,they will give us a little saline. Perhaps that is why I always feel great(well sometimes I am somewhat tired but never irritable)after my dialysis .

I go Mon,Wed Fri always in am and out by 2:30 or there abouts.

My husband will also go get me some kind of sandwich(BK or MickyD's) at lunch time so that helps keep everything pretty level.

Got an excellant center with really great techs and nurses. I am blessed. They let us eat and drink and they are always checking on us asking if we feel alright. All centers should be like Chillicothe Regional .

I am okay when I come off - just ravenously hungry.   I usually go to dialysis about 11 a.m. , so I usually would not have had lunch, so I am ready to eat a bear at 4 p.m. when I leave.
I love ginger drinks.  My father used to believe it could cure almost anything.  In fact I make my own ginger drink from fresh ginger with a squeeze of lime.  Ginger ale is fine but we have in cans from Jamaica and Bermuda - Ginger Beer - this is HOT!  I love it.
