I still have 15-20% kidney function as of a couple of weeks ago.  I'm meeting with a surgeon on the 8th of June to discuss putting in an access.

How long will I have to be on my meds?  (Cyclosporine, prednisone, cellcept, etc?)  One of the things that I'm looking forward to is getting off of the imm. siupp. drugs.

After I started dialysis they took me off my meds.  If you are on Prednisone go off SLOW.  One month per mg.  I never could get off Prednisone completely and am still on 2mg.  I do great on 2mg.  If I'm on no prednisone I can't even get out of bed I'm so stiff.

They say that they can take you off your anti-rejection drugs and they won't have to remove your transplant.  But they did mine.
