When all else fails run in circles, shout loudly

I found this in the HDU news letter and it explains a lot of the ‘problems’ I’ve seen

  https://homedialysis.org/news-and-research/blog/343-next-steps-at-nxstage

I don’t have a problem with running out of SAK fluid, because I run out of physical and emotional capacity to run longer than 2hrs15 so I regularly increase the liters per hour and keep an eye on the SAK to run it empty so I can get off with the most amount of fluid used (just so that I don’t have to lift and carry and empty SAK fluid around)
But I can imagine ‘running out of fluid’ being a real scare and problem for new users.
