My energy levels are dropping to the point all i want to do is go to bed, have lost interest in all pastimes and just a walk around the grocery store has me gasping for breath. is this simptomatic of kidney failure and if so how much improvement in your life did the dialysis bring.?

Yes, that’s why dialysis does not seem so bad after the symptoms start.

Can you ride a bike?

I had a recumbent bike at home for last 17 years. A lot of times, I’m tired or being lazy. I don’t fell like to to anything. But I still can ride my bike. I still can drink  my tea, read internet on my bike. At least I’m moving.

I bought this bike for about $100 17 years ago at a second hand exercises equipment store.

Wish you the best.

jambo,
Its time to have heart to heart with you Nephrologist because unfortunately those symptoms sound like its past time to start D.
When you start you will be amazed how much better you fell in about a month.
