British And Irish Meet Up

Cassandra is trying to arrange a meet up for British and Irish members of the board in the autumn. Kitkatz wants the thread kept in the American meet up directory, and since I am the only British person to reply so far, but two Americans have commented (no Irish), I'm guessing that the reason is that only Americans look in a directory full of posts only aimed at Americans! So Kitkatz has suggested that someone post a separate thread in this directory pointing British and Irish members at that thread. It looks like I am that someone, and this is that thread. So if you are British or Irish please

(Or if you live in a part of mainland Europe that is close to Britain, you are welcome too. Remember parts of The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg, and France are nearer to the currently proposed venue than the extreme northern and southern parts of Britain.)
(
EDIT
: The above paragraph was written when I was trying to think of who would want to come, it is not meant as an exclusive list. Of course anyone from anywhere in the world is welcome if they can make it. If you are reading this, consider yourself invited.)

Would love to come along, but I only could meet on a Sunday and could not travel too far away from London either at the moment.
Any suggestions?
Best wishes from Kristina.

Hi Kristina, we would love to meat up on a Sunday too, but this special meet is on a Saturday because the US site has their's on the Saturday, and we want to try to video/internet call (from where ever to where ever)
I have no idea how that would work, I'll Google that later, or one of our amazing IT techs will know.
Love, Cas

We can skype across if someone in the English group has skype and a laptop they can bring. I can bring my laptop to Vegas.

Remember, Vegas is 8 hours ahead of us, so you would have to call us fairly late in the day. Anything before about 4pm and we will still be in bed. And some people will probably be travelling up in the morning, so it will probably have to be 8pm+ Vegas time.

Quick request to all
: Could everyone please post in the other thread as we are duplicating. I have just replied to Kitkatz's post in this thread, only to go to the main thread and find that Cassandra has already made the same point on the other thread. This thread was originally only meant as a pointer to the other thread, not as a second place to discuss stuff.
