It's the simple things......

Boy, am I glad I came accross IHD.
I'd been feeling generally unwell since Christmas, and not really understanding why. My doctor put it down to excess acid and advised an increase in Omeprazole. My last blood numbers were stable, and about 20 days before the next test. I was just wandering through the various forums, having just joined, when one thread struck me. Low sodium. I googled it. All my symptoms were there, the nausea, vomiting, lack of appetite, low concentration. I took a flyer and risked raising my BP a bit, and bought a pack of salted crackers, the sort normal folks have with cheese and a beer, I ate half the pack with a mug of tea, and carried on working. Well, within half an hour the nausea had gone, and I was starting to feel hungry for the first time in a week.
For lunch that day, I had a huge( for me) salad, and enjoyed the lot!
Now, this was all my own fault for not listening properly in the first instance. The doc said 'cut down' salt, not cut out salt!
I had unknowingly caused my own problem!
The obvious lesson is listen to what's being said, not what you want to hear.
